<div>I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my fiancé, Paul, and our family as we navigate an incredibly difficult time.

<div>A few months ago, Paul developed a severe infection that triggered an autoimmune reaction, leaving him in constant, full-body pain and struggling to move around. In just one month, he lost  60 pounds and has spent much of the last two months in and out of Boston hospitals as doctors work tirelessly to find a solid diagnosis and effective treatment plan.

<div>This ordeal has taken a tremendous toll — physically, emotionally, and financially. Paul’s mobility issues have made it impossible for him to work, forcing him to take an extended leave while he focuses on recovery. With a family of five now relying on one income, it’s been increasingly difficult to stay on top of everyday expenses, medical bills, and the cost of ongoing care.

<div>Those who know Paul know what a hard worker he’s always been — the kind of person who never hesitates to lend a hand and always puts his family first. Being unable to work and provide for his loved ones has been incredibly difficult for him mentally, and watching him face these challenges has been heartbreaking for all of us.

<div>Recently, Paul began a new treatment that doctors are hopeful will help manage his pain and bring back some sense of normalcy. We’re staying optimistic, but the road ahead is still uncertain, and the financial strain continues to grow.

<div>We’re asking for help to cover medical bills, lost wages, and essential household expenses while Paul works toward recovery. Any amount you can contribute — big or small — will make a meaningful difference for our family.
