Help-Portrait Southern Delaware 2019

Help-Portrait is a worldwide annual event that gives photographers, hairstylists and makeup artists the opportunity to give back to their local community.   Help-Portrait is about GIVING pictures, not taking them.  These portraits are for families, children and adults who otherwise couldn’t afford the cost of a professional photo.   The day is a chance to capture a moment, a memory…… and a whole lot more. During our 2018 event, we provided professional heirloom quality photographs to almost one hundred individuals (and two dogs)!

 This year members of Southern Delaware Help-Portrait will again, volunteer their time and their talents to do just that on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Milford, Delaware.  In partnership with People’s Place, Help-Portrait Southern Delaware will be giving those less fortunate an opportunity to schedule a professional portrait session on this date.  Local well known photographers will take photos which will then be printed and framed onsite while guests wait - all free of charge!

Your generous gift will enable us to purchase printing supplies, photo paper, frames, food and drink for attendees, and cover rental fees.   All of our professional photographers, hairstylists, and make-up artists are volunteers that cheerfully bring their own supplies for the event.
