Help Get 6 Students to Fiesta Bowl

TIME SENSITIVE CAMPAIGN:
First of all, please "Share" this campaign. The more people that do that, the more we can raise.
I've learned that there remains a total of six students who may not be able to make the trip with the PHSC Marching Tiger Band to this year's Fiesta Bowl. These are all students who are current on their band dues and who have made an effort with their parents to get their trips paid for. Unfortunately, due to a number reasons these six have not been able to pay the full amount, which is $1,500 per student.
At this point, the cumulative total needed to fund these six remaining students is $6,500 (some have been able to pay a portion of the $1,500). I've added $500 to help cover the costs of this campaign (credit card fees), but 100% of the net amount will go towards getting these kids to the Fiesta Bowl.
Here's what's important. The commitments and money are due later this week. These are absolute deadlines. Therefore we have to act FAST to get this done. I know that the alumni can do this as we funded another student Sunday morning in a few hours. We essentialy have just a few more hours to fund the remaining amount. PLEASE HELP MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
Even if you aren't an alumni of the band, but want to help for whatever reason, PLEASE DO. These are good kids and for the juniors and seniors this will be their last opportunity to travel with the band in HS. It's also everyone's last opportunity to travel with Mr. Sewell as he is retiring at the end of this school year.
There is another fundraiser in the works, but there is no guarantee it will be pulled off or raise the necessary money. Let's make this happen so these kids will know by tomorrow night that their trip is secured.
If the full amount isn't raised by the end ofthe campaign, it will go toward the kids on the basis of seniority. You can have an opinion if this is fair or not, but at this point it's the way it's going to work. Please don't make a decision on whether to give or how much based on this. IF WE CAN FULLY FUND THIS CAMPAIGN, THIS IS IRRELEVANT.
Please consider giving. Even if it's only $10, with the number of us that there are it will make a HUGE difference.

Good evening,
My name is Matt Brown and I am the president of the Pickerington Central Marching Band Boosters.
It is my understanding that person(s) with great intentions has/have sought donations for certain kids to attend the Fiesta Bowl. Please know that this request is not affiliated with the boosters in any measure. As such, the boosters does not monitor any donations and will not have any oversight or control over such donations. Further, any donations are NOT made to the boosters but to the recipient him or her self. Thus, these donations could be deemed as to not being to a 501(c)(3) organization. In short, the donor and donee (who again is NOT the boosters) are solely responsible for any tax implications. If for any reason funds are donated and not used for the declared purpose, the boosters disclaims any and all responsibility associated with any other use or return. Nor will the boosters have any involvement in or responsibility for whomever it is that will make the decision as to which students get to benefit from any funds donated.
It is also important to note that these students are anonymous. This means that neither the donor nor the boosters has knowledge of who is the intended beneficiary of any generous donation. There are several issues that may arise due to the boosters lack of involvement, which could mean that some or all of the students for whom donations are sought may still not be eligible to participate in the parade. These could be logistical (e.g., we are out of room on the plane or hotel rooms) or economic (e.g., there are additional funds owed by the student). This event has been in planning for close to 10 months and arrangements may not have been made or reserved for students from whom the boosters have not heard from during that time. In short, the boosters cannot guarantee some or all of the students can travel to the parade.
