The Saugus High Cross Country Teams, BOTH girls and boys, have trained since the summer, throughout the season, and have RACED their way to earn a spot in the State Meet in Fresno on Saturday, November 29th!
The girls WON the CIF Southern Section title at CIF Finals this past Saturday and are looking for redemption at the State Meet next week, after coming in 2nd place by only 5 points at last year's State Meet Race!
The boys are looking to defend their State Championship title after winning the State Championship last year!
It costs the program money to take TWO teams to a State Meet to race for a Championship title. Most schools are lucky if one of their teams qualifies for the State Meet! Saugus High's dedication and competitiveness allowed them to have TWO teams racing in Fresno next weekend!!
We need your help!! The bill will be upwards of $7,500.00 after transportation, food, hotel, patches, and miscellaneous expenses are covered for the girls and boys.
