Handicap Accessible Vehicle

Donation protected
Hi Everyone!

My name is Sarah Vanden Top. I’ve started this campaign to raise money to be able to purchase a handicap accessible vehicle for myself. I was born with a condition called Spina Bifida, and I am in a wheelchair because of it. I am in the process of getting my driver's license, because I recently graduated from Bay Path University with a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, and I am looking to find gainful employment. However, I am in need of a new handicap accessible vehicle to drive once I get my license. The van that my family now has is just too big and too unreliable. The reason that I've waited this long to get my license is because I'm honestly scared to drive it. I am hoping to get a smaller, more reliable handicap vehicle.

Once I am able to get a job, I will need a reliable vehicle to get me back and forth to work. In the meantime, I will also be participating in an IT training program and internship, so it would be great to have a vehicle to get me back and forth from that as well. Currently I am relying on my family members and public transportation to get me from place to place, and having my own smaller, accessible vehicle would allow me the ability to gain full independence. So, I'm reaching out to see if anyone would be willing to donate to help me get a new handicap accessible vehicle. Any amount that you can donate would be a huge help, and I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you!
