Howard Needs Emergency Bladder Surgery

It is with great humility that I write this post from the waiting room of the veterinary ER. This fundraiser is for my dog Howard. As many of you know- Howard is the light of my life and one of the best dogs around.
Earlier today, Howard wasn’t acting like himself. Our local vet determined that Howard had a urinary tract obstruction- a life-threatening condition and we were rushed to the ER. After hours of tests and x-rays, the ER clinic found the source of the blockage, as well as additional stones in his bladder.
Howard needs two emergency surgeries; one tonight to clear the initial blockage in his urethra and another invasive surgery tomorrow to remove the remaining stones from his bladder.
Those with pets understand how expensive vet bills can be, and it is with a heavy heart that I’m reaching out for help through this unexpected emergency. Howard is an amazing bundle of joy. His company and kisses helped me survive the pandemic, and I can’t imagine living a day without him in it. Anything and everything you can spare will be a blessing. Thank you.
