How to help Duke’s and its amazing staff

Dukes has always been committed to doing right by both our staff and the surrounding community. Whether it’s hosting free neighborhood BBQs and Christmas buffets, or helping others in times of need. Not because we have a bunch of money lying around, but because we just don’t know how else to do this thing called a bar. Mostly, we just like you guys and wanna hang out. We genuinely believe in good times, good value, and fair pay for all. It was a really hard decision to post a request for help with so many of our neighbors already struggling due to the March 3rd tornado. But we’re doing so in the face of COVID-19 closures and our desire to keep everyone as safe as possible. We’re doing this in light of massively uncertain times, and hope for the future. We want to stick around.  We want our hard working and thoughtful staff to have a job when this is over, and some version of peace of mind while we all hit the pause button. We've already  been touched by the kindnesses of those who have checked in on us and those who have asked how to help financially while we close and/or transition our business. It’s meant the world to us to be able to share this space with you guys, and we are so sad to see it empty. We can’t wait to throw a big party on the other side of this. All proceeds will go to our staff. xoxo
