<div>My long career as a piano player, saxophonist, guitarist, songwriter and composer has been abruptly sidelined by a sudden life-threatening medical setback I  never imagined could happen to me.

<div>On May 4th, I suffered a severe blockage in one of the carotid arteries in my neck - the ones that supply blood to the brain.  I was rushed by ambulance to a hospital in Seville, Spain, where doctors removed the obstruction and applied a stent during a forty-five-minute surgery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While the highly skilled doctors may have saved my life, unfortunately, I cannot use my right hand.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Creating music has been my life's work.  Sadly, I've had to cancel all of my concerts and recording sessions. At the same time, I undergo a regimen of intense rehabilitation to regain the fine right-hand motor skills that have given me a remarkable career.
</div>

</div>
<div>As you can imagine, I need financial help.  I was nearly finished recording my latest studio recording before my stroke, but we can begin releasing some selected tracks of excellent music worthy of my previous work.  
</div>

<div>If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, get medical help immediately:
</div>
<div>numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body.
</div>
<div>Confusion, trouble speaking, or difficulty understanding speech.
</div>
<div>Trouble seeing from one or both eyes.
</div>
<div>Difficulty walking, dizziness, loss of balance, or lack of coordination.
</div>
<div>Severe headache with no known cause.
</div>
