HPD First Responder-911-SMIP 69

My name is Joseph Lestrange and I am the Chief of the Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC) at Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).  As Hurricane Harvey hit land in Houston and the surrounding area; while many others were able to stay with their families to make sure they were safe, the brave first responders of Houston Police Department left their homes and loved ones to assist in evacuations, ensure the peace, save lives, and conduct water rescues of people and pets.  Now that the storm is subsiding and the water is receeding, many of these brave officers will return to damaged, destroyed, and uninhabitable homes.  

This Go Fund Me page is dedicated to these selfless individuals who routinely put others lives and well being before themselves and their families, to anwer the call to duty.  All raised funds will be donated to  "The 100 Club - Houston", an organization that provides financial rescue to law enforcement officers and their dependants who have died or been injured in the line of duty, provides educational scholarships for their surviving children, and provides life - protecting equipment to area law enforcement agencies as well as scholarships for officers to further their eduction in criminal justice.
