Houston Needs Help - John Graven

My name is Rudolph Gonzalez and live in Los Angeles. I started this Go Fund Me to help my friend John Graven!
Houston Texas has been hit with the most devastating hurriance in it's history! We have all been watching on all media outlets the horrific damage to the city of Houston.
As we watch we say to ourselves I wish I could help in some way but how?
For the last week or so I felt bad for the people of Houston and then said to myself I wonder if my friend John Graven is ok? The only person I know in the City is my friend John but who is John?
John Graven is a person I met over 25 years ago in Torrance California. My Brother and I got John involved in the underground scene that today is know as EDM. John Grave was one of the Original People that would attend "Insomniac" afterhours on Fridays which today Insomniac is known to the world as the company that puts together "EDC" one of the biggest EDM events in the World.
John Graven became the face of the undergrounds as today when you look back he is almost in every picture taken from the 90's. John Graven aka "Boy Scout" is a true O.G. within that music scene.
Over 15 years ago, John Graven left Los Angeles and Moved to Houston Texas and has been there ever since. I have kept in contact with him over the years but havent seen him since he moved back to Houston Texas.
John Graven today is Married and has a beautiful son living near the Bayou close to the Epicenter of the Houston Hurricane Tragedy.
I have recently found out that John Graven aka "Boy Scout" and his family had to flee their home because of the floods. At the time the family left their home it was 2 Feet under water and today the family doesnt know if the water has increased.
I spoke with John on 9/1/2017 at 11:00am and felt the happiness in his voice that his family is safe but also can hear the sadness of the high probablity that he has lost it all!!
John Graven cannot access his home because of the water that surrounds his entire complex and currently only has about 3 sets of clothes. My friend also doesn't have transportation as his cars are in a parking structure trapped as the bottom floor is flooded with water.
My friend will have to replace all his possessions in his home and although he has flood insurance it will not cover all his losses.
We had a conversation this morning and he mentioned that he and his wife will have to take out a loan to find a new place to live and replace their furniture.
I felt so bad for him and his family!!! All this week I kept saying to myself I wish I could help someone in Houston and now is the time for me to do so.
Those reading this I ask you to please help me raise money to help John Graven and his family during this hard time. I know you all have been watching the news asking yourself what I can do to help? Well this is how you can help please donate any amount of money you can to help John Graven and his family.
All funds donated to this campaign will be tranferred to John Graven and his family to use to replace all their lost furniture and to get a new place due to Hurricane Harvey.
I want to have this campaign going until Sept 30th 2017. Once it ends I will withdraw all money on October 1st 2017 and either bank transfer or mail a check overnight to John Graven and his family.
