My name is Kate Sanders from San Antonio, TX currently in Los Angeles, CA. This account was started for all friends & family of Houston, TX & surrounding areas. I was stationed at the Port of Houston while serving in the US Coast Guard. Houston has always been a home to me. 100% of the donations are going to the victims of Hurricane Harvey. These donations will be spent on supplies victims can not buy at a store right now in TX. Water alone in TX has increased from 4$ a case to almost 3x that. With the funds I will be purchasing a wish list from victims like hygiene products, feminine products, baby formula, diapers, baby wipes, medicine, clothes & more. If there is a question of integrity. I hope you help in other ways like donating items. I am collecting items all across Los Angeles as well as from friends & family in San Antonio, San Marcos & Austin. All supplies & additional funds will be driven 20 hours from Los Angeles to Houston where they will be dropped of at schools acting as shelters, churches and small businesses who have opened their doors for victims. I don't not have a non profit organization therefore it is hard to get professional businesses to donate anything. I need all the help I can get.
