Rebuild House to House and PTP

Donation protected

An E3 tornado struck Jacksonville, Alabama, on Monday, March 19. Thankfully no lives were lost, but there was extensive damage to the city.

All four buildings of the Jacksonville church of Christ received damage. The student center has siding blown off, the auditorium has holes in the roof, the fellowship hall has a lot of damage, and the office building where the House to House/Heart to Heart, Polishing the Pulpit, and the Great Smoky Mountain Marriage Retreat, and other works are done, was completely destroyed.

While these were insured, due to depreciation and other factors, insurance will not cover all the cost of rebuilding. At the time, the elders are estimating it will cost $200,000 above insurance.

Many have asked if they can help, so the elders are setting up this account to facilitate donations of any members of churches of Christ who want to help. The elders will conscientiously use these funds to rebuild and to help those in our area who suffered damage during the tornado.

Thank you,

Elders of the Jacksonville Church of Christ
