Family loses EVERYTHING in Manderson house-fire

Donation protected
In the early morning Wednesday, April 10, 2019 Matt Yellow Bull and family lost everything in a house fire in Manderson, South Dakota.  Most of us know Matt and his nieces Tashina and Shawntay Iron Horse from our travels in the powwow circle.

Matt and his nieces carry such soft and kind hearts.  They always have good words, smiles, and kindness for those who cross their paths.  Niece Shawntay Iron Horse is most well known as a champion traditional dancer and  for successfully serving as the 2017-2018 Little Miss Oglala Nation Princess.  Niece Tashina Iron Horse is a champion jingle dress dancer.

Thankfully no one was home when the fire happened in the Wednesday early morning hours.  However, the cause of the fire is currently unknown.  Unfortunately they lost EVERYTHING and nothing can be salvaged, from their powwow regalia, eagle feathers, to basic everyday clothing.  These are all materials things.  We are thankful most importantly for their lives, and that they are still here with us.

We are asking you in the utmost humble way to please extend your open minds and hearts on behalf of these little ones - the children.  Matt lives for his nieces and we as friends/family are stepping forward to help them during this extremely hard time.  We thank you in advance for your generosity!  Wopila tanka!
