House Restoration for Chip & Katie

My dear friend Katie (Baird) Holt and her husband Chip have been greatly affected by Hurricane Florence and need our help. Their home near North Myrtle Beach was flooded from a nearby river and water is chest deep on the street their house is located on.  Before the storm, Chip was told by the insurance company they wouldn’t need flood insurance because they were not in a floodplain. They have reached out to FEMA for help, but FEMA will not provide nearly the money they need to restore their home. Some of their good friends had their home flooded during Hurricane Harvey and it cost them $80,000 to make their home safe enough to live in.

On top of this devastating event, Chip lost his job two weeks prior to the flooding.  They have always made their home a safe haven for family, friends, church members and visitors. If you feel lead to contribute to the restoring of their home I know they would be forever grateful.
