House Guitar Restoration

Hi, I'm Rob and I've been running the open mic at the Chemic Tavern for three years, at which I've made my beaten up old Yamaha FG-332 available as a house guitar the whole time.

Last week the guitar started buzzing horribly and I realised it's in desperate need of a refret, which I'm getting (along with a couple of other necessary bits of setting up) at a cost of £300. This has left me massively out of pocket at a time when I'm trying to save money so I'm asking you to lend a hand.

Anyone who's played this guitar over the years - and there are a lot of you - will know what a great instrument it is and why I'm so attached to it in spite of it being a scratched and dented old cheap thing. If your kind donations will help me offset even a small portion of this expense so that I and others can continue to enjoy this guitar for years to come, I'll be exceedingly grateful.
