House Fire Relief for Family of 5
Donation protected
In the community of Contempo Marin, on November 11th, 2020, a family of five lost everything in a tragic house fire. Thankfully, they were all able to escape the home uninjured, but the fire spread so rapidly that they lost all their belongings and cherished memories. Unfortunately, they do not have insurance.
We hope that our community can come together to support this lovely family as they rebuild their life. Amidst a pandemic, it is crucial that they find a new, safe place to call home. We are working to raise money to be able to assist them in finding housing and security during these difficult times. In addition, we hope to support them in replacing their essential belongings such as clothing, school supplies, important documentation, college tuition, food, and other essentials.
Rosa is a single mother who is always caring for others. She works tirelessly to give her children the love and care they need and pours her heart into her work as a nurse assistant for those who have experienced physical traumas. Oscar, the oldest, is a loving and dedicated single-father who works tirelessly to support his son. Ivan is a kind and highly ambitious first-generation college student working to help his family have a better future free from poverty. As a Junior at the University of the Pacific, he is pursuing a Business Marketing degree to follow his dream of working to help small businesses thrive. Susie, the youngest of the family, is a bright and hard working young woman who is on the path to attaining her California esthetician license in hopes of continuing to support her mother and pursue her creative passion. Sam is a thoughtful and driven opportunist who has recently started working towards his real estate license so that he can help people find a place to call home.
We hold this family near and dear to our hearts and send all our prayers to them as they get through these troubling times. Please help in any way possible and share our efforts to give this amazing family a home again.
