House Fire Fund for Millers

On June 11, 2017 my parents were going about their day when their grand daughter came up to the house for a visit and noticed something strange.  She went to the backyard where my mother and father were and said "Grandma, I think your house is on fire"  My mother and father were cleaning up some limbs and burning them in the firepit so they just assumed it was the smoke from that traveling over to the front portion of the house.  About 15 mins later mom decided to get dad in the house to cool off and she was going to run to walmart.  When she opened the back door to the house to enter she was greeted with a large amount of black smoke.  She proceeded to go to the front of the house and open the front door where smoke bellowed out of it.  Kody, my father's dog ran out covered in soot.  Mom began to try to locate her cat, Fez but couldn't seem to locate him.  Fez ended up dying in the fire but we are so thankful mom and dad are alive and okay.  This event took the home and belongings that were very meaningful to the whole family.  Over 30 yrs of memories are gone.  Unfortunately, they will have to start completely over but again, we are so grateful for them to be alive.  If you could help in any way this would help them in the rebuild process.  They did have insurance but the cost of building has increased dramatically over the number of years they have been here.  They are very aware they cannot replace the memories but we can help them rebuild and create new memories.  Many have asked what is needed and suggested a go fund me be set up so that is why I am doing it.  Mom and dad would never ask for anything but are very appreciative of all the support from family, friends, and their community thus far.  Thank you so much!
