<div>In de Binckhorst (tegenover de oude Caballero fabriek) ligt een schip (Enterprise). Niet zomaar een schip; nee, dit is het korpsschip (te vergelijken met een - varend - clubhuis) van het <strong>Zeekadetkorps Den Haag</strong>. Het Zeekadetkorps is de leukste nautische vereniging in Den Haag waar (kansarme) jeugd (vanaf 9 jaar) van alles van het leven op en rond een schip kan leren.

<div>De Enterprise is een 102 jaar oude dame: het is oorspronkelijk een Belgische spits (38 m) en van binnen helemaal omgebouwd tot korpsschip. Ze moet een keer in de zeven jaar worden gekeurd. Die keuring vindt begin 2024 plaats. Komt het schip niet door de keuring dan kan er niet meer mee worden gevaren en dat brengt het bestaansrecht van het Zeekadetkorps in de regio in gevaar.
