Meals for Those in Need

My name is Michael Morrissey. I am a junior at Benedictine College Prep and a parishioner at St. Mary's Catholic Church. I have been raising money for the past nine months in order to provide meals for people in need during these uncertain times. My goal was originally $1,000, but after a couple weeks, I was able to raise nearly $4,000. Now, with over $7,000 and many hours in the kitchen, we have been able to provide over 1,200 meals so far.

Some of the organizations that we have been able to assist include the Boys and Girls Club, the Liberation Veteran Services, Marywood Apartments, the Salvation Army, St. Francis Home, and numerous St. Mary's parishioners and their families. 

All of the proceeds are only used to cover the food costs. I will donate my time to prepare and deliver the meals to people in need. Your support means a lot to me because I would like to give back to my community, the same community that has supported me for 17 years. Thank you for your generosity.
