Shay's Hospital ICU Expenses

Please help Shay, I understand it's Christmas and he needs a Miracle. [UPDATES DAILY AT BOTTOM]
He is in critical condition @ Northside-Cherokee ICU. For those who have been following, we have reached the 3rd week of sedation. His kidneys have completely shut down. The doctors have advised he will need dialysis the rest of his life 3 times a week. The medical bills for the hospital alone is a MILLION+ and no end in site. This is day 16 and on day 21 they will put in a trake in his neck. At that point, he will most likely go to a clinical home in Rome, GA. , a good hour away for me. This is the only place that will help at all but they need the insurance paid. Medicaid has denied his claim because you have to know what will happen in a year, and there is no way to guess his status a year from now. I'm going to appeal but that takes time.
This is a crucial point in his life being only 36. I'm the only person who gets a disability income monthly. It doesn't pay all the bills much less the medical. One Doctor who sees Shay every day charges $800 and writes off $470 and bills Shay $330 now day 16 @ is $5280 so far. I could go on and on. If you have any questions before donating, please ask,

Shay contuinions in critical condition . Today he is getting Dialysis and blood transfusion #3. I have posted a picture of him in a sedated coma. They still have him strapped to the bed and if you look closely you may see how his hands are covered and strapped. Shay has improved in the lung area. He is now not 100% on a forced air venlator. They will attemp to remove the congestion, before proceeding further. You may notice a feeding tube, this tube is also where they crush his medicationss and pass them down in like a powder form. All his medications are not crushable. His CD4 count has dropped from the 1100's to 600's. This will be something else that may need to be addressed soon. Please ask if you have any questions. I will update you tomorrow.

Today was one of those days you really want the outcome to change. Shay was not able to come out of his sedation today, so they did not attempt to remove the tube from his throat. They did dialysis twice today to remove fluid only, and Saturday they will do dialysis to clean his blood. I am hoping for a Christmas Miracle to see those deep blue eyes once again to to be able to hug him so close. This weekend ends week 3 and we are off to number 4. Next week they are looking to put in trake.
I want to personally thank everyone who has contributed to this fun and all I need to do is come up with $41 dollars. This was a a long way from the the $1411. Even if you didn't contribute, thats OK, your prayers are so welcome for Shay to heal and to be able to smile once again. God Bless you all, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
