Alicia suffers from quadriplegia and is severally handicapped. She cannot sit without aid of a wheel chair and requires a hospital bed. She spend 90% of her time in her bed. I am her mother and I am raising money to buy her a hospital bed that she will be safe in. Her current bed has rails that she gets her head stuck between. It also has gaps between the mattress and rails that she can "burrow" into and get stuck. Our insurance will only cover this type of bed at the most basic level. I would like to get her a Sleep Safe II bed that does not have gaps in the rails or mattress area. The mattress is made for people like Alicia who spend most of their time in bed. She would be most grateful to have something that makes her more comfortable and safe, and we would be grateful as we will have peace of mind for her safety and comfort. Thank you.
