Hortencia Medellin

Hi I am Ricardo Villanueva and I want to get straight to explaining the love this woman got to show me before passing. I referred to her as mom because that was the role she played. I met her through my friend at hair school Gelika because it was actually her mom. I was having a hard time during then and these two, Gelika and Hortencia didn’t even hesitate to bless me and take me in just to eat or have somewhere to sleep. It was when then I realized how good hearted these two were. They struggle themselves with Gelika being a single mom and hortencia being disabled so to make ends meet, I saw there struggle but it was a great to understand the meaning of life and family. Hortencia passed away January 2, 2020 after taking into the hospital and although she has gone to a better place and is no longer suffering, I want to help with what I can to raise money so we can help Gelika make a smooth transition with not having the help of her mother to watch her kids as she has to return to work and take responsibility alone. I know that they will be cremating her and I don’t know the price of that but I’m sure anything will help her and would be greatly appreciated. Donate what you can, it’s fine.  Just please do it from the heart.
