Horse sanctuary rescue appeal

5 Years ago whilst walking our dog Alfie my partner and I came across a secluded field full of beautiful horses.
Weeks later after taking our dog for his daily walk we came across their amazing Mummy called Claire. Claire called us over to introduced us too them, as she calls them her ' babies '
Dan who is now 37 years old, Claire rescued him from a meat farm 33 years ago !!!!
Dillon who is 6 years old now, he was rescued from Ash Ford horse sales where the meat man was bidding against her
George who was rescued from terrible circumstances, he was only 1 and a half and had driving shoes on and was terribly underweight . George is now almost 6 !!
Baby brothers Freddie and Teddy who were dumped on a busy road who are now 6
Finn who was starved with an inch of his life, he was found with another horse starved both living on concrete, the other horse unfortunately ate Finns tale and sadly the other horse didn't make it. Finns now 4.5 and Claire's has now had him for 3.5 years.
Archie who was unfortunately the worst of being abused, he has scars around his neck where he was tethered so tight with scars around his mouth where he was see sawed with rope to his mouth. Claire will have had him 4 years in July.
Over the years as a family with our 2 young daughters we've had the pleasure of getting to know these gorgeous horses . We've watched Claire nurse all these beautiful animals back to health. It's truly unbelievable how Claire has done all of this alone from weeding an area of 50 football fields to repairing fences and drainage issues seasonally through rain sleet or snow.
Unfortunately due to ill health and a major back operation Claire has been unable to work and has fallen behind with the ongoing financial up keep of her Horse Sanctuary.
Please HELP save our horses from becoming homeless. We need to raise £3,000 in order to pay for ground rent arrears, forthcoming rent, food and the upkeep of our babies whilst Claire recovers back to health and can return to work.
