Horizon House (Casa Horizonte)

We are Noe and Holly Clemente (and our 6 amazing kiddos) of Today for Christ ministries in Mexico. We have been missionaries in the small towns of Michoacan, Mexico for 14 years. We have partnered with many churches in order to minister to children and youth in this area, working to bring the love and hope of God into the most difficult of situations.
For a long time we have seen a need for a permanent ministry to the youth. Many of them only attend school through elementary school and then drop out to work as laborers in the fields. They get caught in a cycle of poverty and addiction, not seeing any other options or purpose for their lives. Many of them get married and start families in their early teens, and the cycle begins all over again.
We have the desire to start a ministry for youth, creating a place where they can have fun in a healthy environment. We want to start educating them about all the options that are open to them and about the unique purpose that God has for each one of them. We want to encourage them to steer clear of addictions and seek after the God who loves them and has good plans for their lives. Unfortunately desire alone is not enough...and that is where you come in!
We have a house! We have started making payments on a house in El Fortin which we have named Horizon House. It has a great location, right on the main highway which will make it an accessible place for youth from many other towns. The plan is to use this house EXCLUSIVELY for ministry, and we are so excited about the blessings it will bring to the next generation. BUT we can't do it alone. We need your help to finish purchasing the house (the amount listed will fully pay for the house) so that we can open this much-needed ministry.
Why should you give to Horizon House?

2) We need YOU! Making payments out of our regular monthly support is not nearly enough. Big dreams are reachable when we all work together, and we all play a huge role in making this dream happen!
