Hopscotch Miracle

Donation protected
My Name is Karina, and I am writing on behalf of the Hopscotch family as a friend, coworker and admirer of Cristina and Mai.
On saturday November 19th, Cristina and Mai were on their way home from work when they were hit by a tractor trailor in Greenwich, CT. Both Cristina and Mai have suffered major brain injuries and are fighting for their lives.
Cristina (also know as Ana Cristina Vomoca) is a native of Brazil who came to the U.S. in her teens. She has created a successful life here as a mother to her almost 2 year old son Oliver, a home owner, and a talented hair stylist for the past 10 years at Hopscotch Salon. Cristina has suffered major brain injuries and is clinging to life at this time. She is one of the strongest woman most of us have ever met, and with her determanation in life we are praying for her to be our miracle and to make a recovery!
Mai (also known as Maiko Kobayashi) was born in Japan, and like Cristina, came to the U.S. in her early teens and made many accomplishments in her young age. Mai continues to excel at the violin since her early years and today has become an inspiring hair stylist, make-up artist and teacher at Hopscotch for the past 12 years.  Mai has also suffered brain injuries and will have a long road to recovery.
Cristina and Mai share a great friendship and have a lot in common. They are both avid runners, health and fitness fanatics, world travelers, mentors, lovers, fighters, friends, sisters, and daughters. Their dertermination and passion for life gives us the hope that they will become our miracles!
With so much unknown as of now, the one thing we do know is that neither family should have to worry about any financial strains. The money that we raise will help to cover loss of income, monthly living expenses, any recovery and rehab care, and to help Cristina's son, Oliver, for his future.
Not only is Cristina and Mai a major part of our Hopscoth family but they are so kind, good hearted, hard working, honest girls that would help anyone in a time of need. They both, along with their families, would be overwhelmingly greatful for your help, love, and support to make this miracle happen!
No donation is too small and please spread the word and prayers!

Thank you so much in advance-
The Hopscotch Family
