Hopland Tap House Recovery Fund

Many of you know the story about the semi-truck crashing into the Hopland Tap House on March 17th, 2017. Some of us can still feel and see the impact of this event every day. Maybe you see it when you drive by the building. Maybe you feel it when you bump into me, Briana, Melissa, Brook, or Ryan. Maybe you just want a Chicago Dog, Burger, or a yummy slice of Cheesecake. Maybe you just want to stop in for a pint and say hello, but can't sadly because we are still closed. If all goes as planned we hope to reopen toward the end of July....We miss you all very much, so hang in there just a bit longer!

I am starting this recovery fund to help with a variety of costs that have come up as a result of this unfortunate event. Reality is often quite different from the ideal, and this has cost me a lot more than I ever could have imagined. Funds raised here will be an enormous help to get the Hopland Tap House up and running again. I am thankful that I have insurance, but it doesn't cover everything. I am down three large dining tables and would like to add a bar table next to the bar window with four new bar stools. We need to upgrade our Weber grill, and I need continued legal counsel. Along with legal representation I also need to hire a forensic accountant to estimate the true cost of both my business' financial losses, and the losses of my cherished and treasured staff.
