Hopkins Healing

Due to recent events, The Hopkins/Ferris family had to face some news we never saw coming. Tammy had a seizure early Sunday morning, which led to the discovery of a brain tumor. A CT scan at the ER revealed an edema on the brain. She was transferred to Christ where an MRI of the brain was completed. At that time, they discovered to what they believe is a Grade 2 tumor on the right side between the frontal & temporal lobe. Based on the initial MRI images, they believe the tumor is malignant. She will undergo a functional MRI to determine if the tumor is removable. Her appointment with the Neurosurgeon is going to be on March 9th. This is when surgery vs biopsy will be determined. They do know for sure she will have to go through Chemotherapy and radiation.

Tammy not only provided daycare for my kids when they were little, but she, as well as the rest of her family, are considered part of my family.  We want to help out, as well as provide a way for others to help out.  Please consider dontating to help Tammy's family with medical and other expenses.
