Hungry, homeless & hurt... These poor cats  must struggle to find food & search for a safe place to sleep. They will never know what it is like to be petted, snuggled and loved. They will never have a toy to play, there is no time for this. They must battle to find food to stay alive.... Hoping for help. No one is coming to help them.... They are alone.....
Hi my name is Tammy, I am from the US I am retired and have traveled to many countries. I am currently in North Africa trying to help solve the problem of the enormously overpopulated stray feral cats
Currently I am up to  60+ feral cats and kittens in horrible conditions that I feed daily. These are homeless cats living in  abandoned buildings & on the streets. They have no one and are surviving on eating garbage. Many are hurt & sick. They show signs of many scars and years of damage.  They look tired and worn from this life they have been given.

No one is helping them. People walk right by and see them crying on the street. They don't slow down to even look. No one cares here. They chase them away like vermin.

These cats are located in North Africa  the heat is extreme, these poor babies go without water. They walk around panting and struggle daily searching for food & water. Winter is cold & wet, food is harder to find.

I began feeding them a few days after my arrival. I walk the streets seeing new furry faces everyday. Faces that look at me with a begging look in their eyes for help.
Most of these cats are deeply afraid of people, they are treated like vermin. Unwanted.....

But I have worked very hard to gain their trust. They now sit & wait for breakfast, they see me coming & run to me. I have become part of their family and have been privileged enough to pet a few.
I begin every morning at 7 am. Loading up and walking carrying what I can. I must return home 4 times to reload up on food & water. I visit each gathering spot giving them a mix of chicken, vitamin meat & crunchy mix. I also have 6 feeding stations to fill with food & water. They wait patiently for me every morning. They know food is coming.
The hurt have been captured and taken to the vet, some needing many surgeries. I catch the ones that I have gained their trust. They are taken in to be spayed and neutered as I can , but the sick and injured come first!!!

Cat food is very expensive here because it is mostly imported and you can't find it locally. I must travel to a distant town and buy supplies weekly.
The numbers are rising everyday with a new street I walk down. I see new faces every day and add them to my stops.
My goal is a full bowl of food for every cat I see everyday. I make bowls out of the bottom of 1 liter water bottles for water for them.  They disappear as fast as I make them.

I would love to find a small building to open a place for cats. I have searched many areas and buildings are very expensive. But I keep looking. I have carriers to transport ferals, I transformed one one into a trap to catch them. I purchased towels and blankets at a thrift store for them so they are comfortable when I have one with me in my home.
I have 8 cats of my own now, 7 are cats I have rescued, they all have some kind of major medical issues, I knew they would never survive on the street as feral. Also I have taken in 7 kittens that someone had dumped in a alley at 1 month old. You can view the video in one of my recent updates. It breaks my heart to walk away from a cat or kitten meowing and following me.
I see their faces when I lay down to sleep, they are sad. No play and no fun. I worry I missed one. Will my bowls I made for water be their tomorrow? Where are they sleeping? Are they scared?

I will do everything I can  to help these poor babies. I'm trying to make a difference in their lives. I can't do this alone, I need lots of help.
I have dedicated my future into helping these cats. This is making a difference in many ways. Myself & my program which I call "Cats With No Hope" is acknowledged & Noterized at Town Hall.
Donations are always needed to help finance this enormous project that I am taking on single handedly  Feeding is a daily expense that is ongoing. Veterinary visits, surgeries and medication add up fast. Every dollar counts, no amount is too small. Please help give them a small chance at sleeping without the pain of hunger, and help end the birthing  of so many unwanted kittens.
