One of our best friends was recently diagnosed with breast cancer at only 26-years-old. At her most recent appointment, her treatment plan was discussed and it will include:
-freezing her eggs, due to the likelihood of chemotherapy killing them
-Chemotherapy
-Surgery
Because she has no children yet, it is crucial that she freeze her eggs in order to have a chance at becoming a mother in the future.
