This is my niece Heidi. She is a firey, smart, and adorable girl. Heidi can spell her name, count down backwards from 10, and say her alphabet, and she's only 2! She brings joy and love to all she is around.

Recently, she began having trouble walking and keeping balance. Her doctor recommended and MRI to see what was going on. When the results came back, none of us were ready for what we were about to hear.

Heidi has brain cancer. It's a very rare and aggressive type of cancer that only affects a small percentage of children. They performed emergency surgery and thankfully removed practically all of the tumor. Also, as far as we know, the cancer has not spread to anywhere else in her body! Thank you for all of your prayers through this point of her journey. Unfortunately, her journey has just begun.

Heidi is being transferred to Nationwide Hospital in Columbus, Ohio to receive high doses of chemotherapy to combat this cancer. We hope and pray that this treatment absolutely obliterates every cancer cell in her body and makes it scared to return.

Heidi's parents, Bo and Megan, will be with her at Nationwide Hospital all along the way. This means that they will have to leave their jobs to attend to their precious daughter. With no income, bills will start to accrue. We are asking for any assistance you can provide to help offset some of their routine bills and these new medical bills to help cure Heidi.

Any amount is beneficial. I can promise you that any funds that are donated will go straight to Bo and Megan to help with the expenses of curing their sweet girl. Treat this as if it were your own family, or your own child. What would you want others to help do for you?
