As most of you know, my name is Chris Maki. On May 8, 2019, I was officially diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma (Stage 2 B cell). For those that don't know, this cancer can be aggressive because it attacks the lymph system which is what helps our bodies filter out toxins. 

So far what I have learned from my doctors is that my treatment plan requires more testing--pet scan, bone marrow biopsy, heart and lung tests, the works. Most plans for this type of cancer include a combination of chemo and radiation. I have teamed up with friends to create this page in an effort to keep everyone updated on my fight. 

Living expenses are a great concern due to the uncertainty of treatment and lack of employment at this time. Funds raised by this gofundme page will help alleviate the pressures of monthly dues and medical expenses.
