The Love yoUrself and Stay Happy Foundation offers grants to couples across the United States struggling with infertility. We provide financial assistance towards infertility treatments, surrogacy, or adoption. But we do not stop there. We organize chat groups, charity events and fundraisers for women who suffer from postpartum and struggling single moms.
We are an entity that relies entirely on donations. We are all volunteers and are actively seeking more sponsors donors and can always use more people to join our cause to make an impact in the community. We hold several events each year to help raise money for our cause, allowing us to award grants to couples. We also attend conferences to help spread awareness and offer our assistance to those in need. We believe our group and our events would be a source of hope, strength, encouragement, and guidance to those going through a very long and rocky path. The inability to conceive can be very stressful personally, socially, and emotionally. We know that genuine, life-giving help can come from others who walked the same journey.
Our goal is not only to assist couples financially but also to empower them with the blessing of having a family of their own. Our financial assistance will give couples in need the opportunity to conceive a child through IVF. The contributions will also support single mothers going through the bewilderment of postpartum conditions and other pandemic experiences during these uncertain times.
I am someone who has had infertility for the past five (5) years, and I have spent over $100,000 on fertility treatments. My insurance did not cover IVF, and I applied for numerous grants and loans that I was repeatedly rejected. I made too much to get a grant but too little for a loan. I am sure that there are other women with the same experience, so I created this Foundation, so hard-working middle-class women can have somewhere to turn to for financial help and emotional support. When hopeful parents learn the cost of IVF treatments, many become discouraged and give up hope of having a family.
“The best way I can describe infertility, is to ask a parent to imagine a world where their child did not exist. I live that reality everyday” – Anonymous
