My mom, Jen, is facing one of the toughest battles of her life. In January 2025, she was diagnosed with a solitary plasmacytoma—a tumor on her tailbone that contains myeloma cells. Because of this, she has a significant risk of developing multiple myeloma. Since her diagnosis, Jen has undergone two bone biopsies, numerous CT scans, MRIs, regular bloodwork, and 18 rounds of radiation treatment. She is currently waiting for another CT scan to check for broken bones in her tailbone, as her pain has not subsided.

 Anyone who knows Jen knows she is a fighter, a devoted mother and wife, and an incredible friend. She has always been the one to show up for others—offering a meal, being a shoulder to lean on, or sharing a laugh. Now it’s our turn to show up for her. While we are hopeful about her treatment, the reality of medical bills, scans, medications, and ongoing care costs is overwhelming. The financial burden of battling cancer is immense, and we want her to focus on healing, not stressing about expenses.
