Updates on Hope Smith's Trip to Puerto Rico

Dear Family & Friends,
I have the opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico in the spring as part of a class I am taking at Saline High School. The class is called Senior Capstone, and it is the same class that Hayden took his trip to Haiti with a few years ago. The Haiti trip is not an option this year due to unrest in that area, so I will be heading to Puerto Rico instead.
The trip is a Service Learning Tour entitled, "Community & Conservation in Puerto Rico." Our class will support initiatives such as environmental sustainability, reforestation, and agricultural restoration.
I need to raise $2500 for my trip which covers airfare, accommodations, meals, etc. If you are interested in donating, I would greatly appreciate it. Even though the trip isn't until March, I have payments due in October, November, December and January.
I will be providing updates during my trip and a report of my trip when I get back. Thanks so much!
