Hope Rolls Park Fundraiser

Since the idea in early January 2021 we have been busy researching and talking to community members and organizations about the possibility of an inclusive park.  The Spirit Lake school district gave us ground space of 30,000 square feet to install the inclusive play equipment. We are currently raising funds and applying for grants with the hope to raise $1,000,000 this year. This will be a community park and include equipment for all ages and abilities. It will be located next to the schools football, baseball and softball fields as well as our local little league fields. The Dickinson County trail system will run through it and connect to the trail system throughout the county.  Our plans are to have a sensory area, a ninja course for ages 13+, a big inclusive area for all abilities and ages, as well as an area for outdoor fitness for ages 13-99! All of this will be installed onto a pebbleflex surface, which is great for stability and easy to roll on with strollers and wheelchairs.


We are very excited and know that every opportunity and every dollar will help make our dream come true.
