Health and Life Coach Training for an MS Survivor

Hello, my name is Aaron. I’m a devoted husband to my wonderful wife of 18 years, and father of two spirited teens. I’m also an MS Survivor since 2015 when I was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, a more aggressive form of MS. Since then my life has changed considerably as I’ve had to adjust to this new reality and discover ways to live that allow me to maximize my strengths and overcome my weaknesses. I’m proud to say that by committing myself to an intense daily exercise regimen and providing my body with much of what it needs to function at its best, I’ve been able to slow the progression of this dreadful disease. But with all I do to manage my illness, it’s extremely difficult, if not impossible, to take on more traditional employment in order to help care for my family.

That’s why I hope to raise $5,200 (CAD) by January 5th, 2021 for Health and Life Coach training and certification through the Health Coach Institute’s (HCI) 6-Month online program. HCI’s outstanding program, for me, is a bright beacon in a dark, starless night’s sky, and receiving this training and certification would mean the world to me. It would, most importantly, afford me the opportunity to earn a living and support my family from home. This way I can set up a flexible work schedule that allows me to also do the things needed to navigate the myriad obstacles this disease presents me with daily.

But in addition to being able to support my family, I’m also just excited to become a health and life coach. Doing such meaningful work, I hope to aid and inspire others who also need support working through difficulties in life. In particular I’m eager to work with my peers battling not only the physical challenges of chronic illness, but also the mental and emotional issues that often accompany them. I feel that this training and certification, along with my own life experience, will uniquely qualify me to help many others in need.

Many thanks for taking time to read my story. I very much appreciate it and any support (big or small) that you’re able to provide. This includes contributing financially and/or simply forwarding this message to others you think may be willing and able to assist. There are already a lot of folks who’ve played a role in my survival story, and with the ceaseless love and support I receive I will continue to survive, and even better, to live a fulfilling life. I am humbled by and forever grateful for your generosity. Peace, blessings, and Happy Holidays!

Sincerely,
John Aaron Tyree
