The HOPE-FULL BOX PROJECT was born as a Keepersoul (www.keepersoul.com) initiative of delivering a message of hope to those in need. This project has grown into a beautiful practical platform which has enabled anyone to contribute to this message of hope by donating items such as food, clothing, toys and school supplies to families and individuals.
Donated items are distributed not only in Barcelona, Spain, but also to the Philippines, Portugal and South Africa.
In partnering with a transport company in Spain, we have enabled these donated items to be delivered to previously specified families in the Philippines, straight to their door within 2,5 months period. Should you decide to donate funds to this initiative, this will be used to purchase the box. The total cost for a XL box, packaging and delivery is 105€ .
Various items in excellent condition have already been donated by caring families of which some of them have been packed for distribution. Our first 6 boxes have been shipped during the months of May and July and we received confirmation of delivery. We are so excited by this project as we not only wish to provide people and opportunity to recycle unused items, but to provide a network for these items to be delivered to families in need.
Our aim remains to provide hope for these families but with a very important emphasis on "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" in an environmentally challenged world. We always aim to send these items without packaging and limit any use of plastic. In the event that we receive donations with plastic or packaging, we ensure responsible disposal and recycling of these items before they are sent.
