<div>We’re reaching out with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits. Stacy’s epilepsy has been especially severe, with frequent grand mal seizures that have sent us to the hospital and brought a lot of fear and uncertainty into our lives.
</div>

<div>In March 2024, Stacy had an extremely serious seizure where he coded twice, and we almost lost him. Because of the severity of his condition, he was forced to leave his job and hasn’t been able to work since.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since then, I’ve been doing everything I can to hold our family together—working a full-time job, taking on every side job available, and being a full-time caregiver to my husband while also supporting our 15-year-old son, Jake. Life has handed us some very hard cards lately, but we keep pushing forward and hoping for the best.
</div>

</div>
<div>Stacy has a neurology appointments coming soon that may approve life-changing epilepsy surgery at Vancouver General Hospital—a real chance to significantly reduce or even stop the seizures and give our family some stability and peace.
</div>

</div>
<div>Because of Stacy’s condition, flying is the safest and quickest option (a 3-day drive isn’t realistic), but the costs add up fast. We’re trying to raise $5,800 to cover about 7 days in Vancouver (timing may change depending on medical needs).
</div>

<div>Here’s what the funds will help with:

<div>• ✈️ Flights (Fort St. John–Vancouver) for Stacy and a caregiver, plus airport transportation — $1,200
</div>
<div>• 7 nights in a budget hotel near the hospital — $1,000
</div>
<div>• ️ Food &amp; daily essentials for two — $450
</div>
<div>• Medical extras (medications, supplies, follow-ups) — $400
</div>
<div>• Home bills &amp; lost wages during the trip — $400
</div>
<div>• Emergency cushion in case of extra days or unexpected needs — $1,350
