Hope for Rocky Jr.

This is Rocky Jr. age 9. On the night of Sunday, July 1, 2018 after a normal active summer day, Rocky suffered a severe stroke caused by a congenital condition called Arterlovenous Malformation (AVM). The stroke caused significant damage leaving him unable to walk and at first even speak. He will have to undergo at least 2 brain operations to hopefully reverse this state. But before the surgeries, Rocky Jr. will have 5+ weeks of intense rehab to hopefully regain some of his strength before the procedures.

Rocky's dad, Rocky Sr., his mom, Marivel and his older sister Alison are obviously heartbroken and distraught. This is a hard working family with both parents working two jobs just to provide a normal lifestyle for lil Rock and his sister. Rocky's neurosurgeons say he is in for a very long haul from here on out but his prognosis is good. This however will involve overwhelming financial expense for the family.
