Hope for my Father & I

My name is Cassandra, I am 17 years old and graduated from high school. I am sitting in the emergency room with my father as we wait for another doctor to evaluate his stomach. Just 20 days ago my father, Vince had a whipple surgery for Duodenum Cancer. He just got out of the hospital yesterday and him & I as a family have been struggling. My mother and father at undergoing a separation. When they were together as a team, life was much easier, steady income, reliable and consistent living conditions, & less struggles. My father and I had moved 30 minutes away from my mother and my sister with no direct contact between the two. My father wanted to move far away from my mother to start fresh and create less tension between the both of them. The separation was very difficult on my father. For months he had a lack of motivation to work, get out of bed, or prepare for a better future. My dad & I and my Mother and my sister both went our separate ways in July 2017. Since then my father has been on his own trying to pay rent, bills, and making sure we have a stable place to live. We were doing okay without my mother. Not struggling but living month to month. In November 2017 my father had found out he was ill. He had ulcers in his stomach, he couldn’t eat, was on several antibiotics, and couldn’t leave bed. My father works for a ride share company(self-employed). Doesn’t have any employee benefits, paid-leave, consistent pay checks, etc. The only way he would be able to support us was working 10-12 hours a day driving. That was an everyday thing and since he got ill and had his procedure, nothing is able to get done. I work a part time job that gives me 12 hours max a week that pays minimum wage. I can’t even put a dent into our bills with my paychecks. Sometimes I can’t even get to work. I don’t have my license yet because I started drivers ed late. I am waiting until my 18th Birthday in June to get it so I can get a better paying job and able to transport my father around to appointments & stores on top of getting myself to a consistent job. Today it really hit me, we are going to lose everything. We have very little support since the separation. If anybody is able to help find me a full time job, donate, or give moral support, anything would be greatly appreciated. All donations will go to expenses and cancer treatment/medications.
