<div>From over 1 years' worth of chemo, to radiation, to weekly visits to Children's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI, Hadley has held a smile on her face during all of it. Unfortunately, Hadley's tumor is quite stubborn and has decided not to budge with all of the treatments she has endured. Hadley's next step in her fight against Rhabdomyosarcoma is taking on clinical trials.  The family is trying their hardest to find one she qualifies for!  They are working with Doctors all over the country to find the right one for her and will not stop until they do!

<div><strong>Baker Family update - 7/8/2024:</strong>

<div><strong>Lauren</strong> continues to monitor her MS. She has recently begun a new medication to hopefully slow the disease down. Lauren has not been able to work since Hadley has been diagnosed one year ago. She has not left Hadley's side during all of this. Every trip to Milwaukee, every sleepless night - Lauren is there to comfort and hold Hadley's hand. She gets my vote for Mother of the Century for sure.

<div><strong>Kevin</strong> just finished surgery where he had 11 inches of colon removed due to his 2nd bout with cancer. Luckily - the Doctor's believe they were able to get all of his cancer. He will be off of work for about 2 more months for recovery with additional recovery up until December. Kevin has been the ultimate optimistic guy we all know and love. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - Cancer is no match for him.

<div>Cancer does not define <strong>Hadley</strong>. One year ago, she was a basketball loving, sweet and spunky 10-year-old. Fast forward a year - and she is the same exact person - only 1000% more stronger and a lot of people's new hero. She has shown what the true meaning of strength is and has brought a community together like none other. And yes - she will still school anyone in a game of lightning.

<div><strong>Rori </strong>was diagnosed with the same TP53 gene as Hadley and Kevin - meaning she is also very susceptible to getting any type of cancer(s) during her life. She now will be going to the Dr. every 4 months for ultrasounds on her abdomen (as a precautionary routine) and annual checkups at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee. This will help ensure that if she does develop any type of cancer, they can catch it and treat it right away. Rori is the same silly, sport loving enthusiast she always has been and excited to start 4th grade in the Fall.

<div><strong>Macy</strong> is growing to be a beautiful young adult. She just turned 15 and has thankfully tested NEGATIVE for the TP53 gene! She is set to be a Sophomore at De Pere High School this fall (2024). She continues to be a rock for Hadley and family. If you were to ask Hadley and Macy, they would never leave each other's side. They are sisters by blood, but also the best of friends forever and ever. She is quite possibly the most mature 15-year-old I have ever met.

<div>To say <strong>Lily</strong> is an amazing older sister to all of these girls is an understatement. She has stepped up and taken on helping Lauren while traveling with Hadley during treatments as well as helping out the family at home when needed. The relationship she has with not only her sisters but with Lauren and Kevin is enough to burst anyone's heart. Lily - you make so many proud by just being you. Keep it up, girl.
