<div>On October 28, 2025, Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica with devastating force, leaving entire communities in ruins—including the area in Hanover where I grew up and where my family still resides. The storm destroyed my childhood home, swept away our cherished possessions, and uprooted so many lives in mere hours. My loved ones are now facing unimaginable hardship, with nowhere safe to live and limited access to basic necessities.

<div>My name is Patrina Williams, and I am from Chester Castle, Hanover, Jamaica, but I now live in Pembroke Pines, FL. I am raising these funds to directly support my entire family in Chester Castle—including my brother, nephew, cousins, aunts, uncles, and close family friends—who have all been severely affected by this disaster.

Every donation will go directly towards rebuilding their home, replacing essential items, securing safe shelter, and covering urgent necessities such as food, medicines, and repairs. With so much loss in Hanover, government resources and aid agencies are stretched thin. Therefore, direct help from compassionate supporters is absolutely critical right now. While the world has been contributing much aid and supplies, it will take a while to trickle into smaller communities like Chester Castle, Hanover.
