Hope for Chelsea Pepper Challenge

Donation protected
Chelsea McKita is 24 years old and is battling brain cancer for the 3rd time in 11 years. She has had multiple surgeries, and numerous chemo therapy and radiation treatments over the years. She has also had countless appointments and tests. There is no known cure for her type of cancer (Medulloblastoma), so she is now into the trial phase of her treatment.
Through it all, Chelsea has maintained a positive attitude and has continued to be very forward thinking, planning for her future. She even graduated from IUP in December of 2017, while undergoing treatment!
Currently, Chelsea is living in Memphis, TN with her mom, while receiving treatment through a trial at St Jude. Her father, Brian, is currently traveling back and forth between Memphis and Pittsburgh, balancing work and supporting Chelsea. The money raised during this campaign will go towards helping the McKita family as they are now living on one income and are having to deal with travel costs while Chelsea receives treatment.
In addition to this fundraiser, we are starting an Internet challenge to benefit the McKita family! We are challenging anyone who's up to it to try and eat one of Howie's famously home-grown hot peppers! If you're up to the challenge join us on October 20th at 2:00 pm at the Jackman Inn on Jackman Avenue in Pittsburgh, PA 15202, and if you can't eat the whole pepper, you owe us $20! This event will also be taking place online, all over Facebook, so if you can't make it to the Jackman, take the challenge online! And if you can't make it through a whole pepper, come on back, donate, and challenge your friends! Take the challenge for Chelsea!
