<div>My name is Carolina del Valle Gutiérrez Chacón. On May 29, 2025, following a biopsy of my right breast, I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. The pathology report indicated the presence of lymphovascular tumor permeation, infiltration of adjacent adipose tissue, and perineural infiltration. Based on the precise characteristics identified via immunohistochemistry, the diagnosis was confirmed as Triple-Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Grade III), with a proliferative activity of 90% (Ki-67).

<div>To date, I have completed four cycles of chemotherapy, which—thankfully—proved effective against the disease.
</div>
<div>I underwent surgery on December 4, 2025. The procedure performed was a total bilateral mastectomy; given the risks of future recurrence, I made the decision to pursue a radical surgical approach. I am currently undergoing post-treatment and post-surgical follow-up examinations. Since it was my family and friends who helped me cover the costs of the surgery, I currently lack the financial resources to pay for the consultations, medical tests, and check-ups that I require. Given the risks of recurrence or metastasis—stemming from the specific cancer phenotype that developed (Triple-Negative Breast Cancer)—I am classified as a patient with a high clinical-pathological risk profile. This subtype represents the most aggressive biological form of breast cancer, carrying the highest risk of early relapse and distant metastasis; my elevated Ki-67 level of 90%, combined with the presence of lymphovascular and perineural invasion, necessitates that I remain under strict medical surveillance, adhering to all tests and check-ups prescribed by my physicians.

<div>I am a hardworking professional woman; however, this unexpected and sudden situation has overwhelmed me—and my family—in every conceivable way. We have made every possible effort to act swiftly, in a timely manner, and to overcome this ordeal.

<div>I need to undergo the necessary medical tests and attend follow-up consultations with various specialists—including my oncologist, surgeon, and neurologist—but my personal finances, as well as those of my loved ones, have been severely depleted since we first embarked on this journey.

<div>Mi nombre es Carolina del Valle Gutiérrez Chacón, fui diagnósticada el 29 de mayo de 2025 mediante biopsia en mama derecha, de Carcinoma Ductal Infiltrante con permeación tumoral linfovascular presente, infiltración del tejido adiposo adyacente presente e infiltración perineural presente, resultando las características precisas según resultado de la Inmunohistoquímica, en un carcinoma ductal infiltrante triple negativo (grado III), con una actividad proliferativa del 90% (ki67).

<div>A la fecha, ya me fueron realizados 4 ciclos de quimioterapia, que gracias a Dios fueron efectivos en contra de la enfermedad.

<div>Fuí operada el 4 de diciembre de 2025, el procedimiento una mastectomía total bilateral, dado los riesgos de reincidencia a futuro fue mi decisión ser radical en el tipo de cirugía, ahora estoy en los chequeos post tratamiento y cirugía, ya que mi Familia y amigos, fueron quienes me ayudaron para cubrir los costos de la cirugía, no cuento con los recursos para costear las consultas, exámenes médicos y chequeos que requiero. Considerando los  riesgos de reincidencia o metástasis, por el fenotipo de cáncer que se desarrolló, el cáncer de mama triple negativo; que representa el subtipo biológico mas agresivo con mayor riesgo de recaída temprana y metástasis a distancia el Ki67 elevado de 90% sumado a la invasión linfovascular y perineural me deja en una clasificación como paciente de alto riesgo clínico - patológico y requiero mantenerme bajo vigilancia médica, siguiendo las indicaciones de exámenes y chequeos ordenados por los médicos.

<div>Soy una mujer trabajadora y profesional, no obstante esta situación inesperada y sorpresiva me ha superado en todos los sentidos, también a mí familia, hemos hecho todos los esfuerzos para actuar rápidamente, a tiempo y superar todo esto.

<div>Necesito hacerme los exámenes respectivos, ir a las consultas con los especialistas, oncólogo , cirujano, neurólogo, pero mis finanzas y la de mis seres queridos han mermado y sido afectadas desde que iniciamos este proceso.
