Hope and Help for Joel

Those of you who know Joel Ureta know he is a kind and gentle soul.  He loves the ocean, fishing, St Croix and the island lifestyle and has been a wonderful ambassador for Island Life Real Estate.  For the past year, Joel has been having back pain.  He was attending to it much as any of us would, icing it, going to the chiropractor, stretching, massages.  It kept getting worse.  In March, he learned he has cancer (Multiple Myeloma), and he is currently in the hospital in California starting his battle.  He is undergoing both chemo and radiation, and has had surgery as well.  They are bringing out the big guns to get him well!   This type of cancer is incurable, but treatable.  

He doesn't have insurance, and as you know, the fight against cancer is not only physically and emotionally draining, but financially draining as well.  Please show him some love and do what you can.  It will help support him and his family through this critical time.  You know he would do the same for you.....
