Please help us pay for our considerable out-of-pockets medical expenses for Grace who is an amazing Warrior battling with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Dysautonomia and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and MALS (Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome).
Sadly Grace’s mother has recently been diagnosed with cancer which makes this family’s financial struggles even more difficult. Mother will soon begin treatment. Let’s help them cross this hard road in any way we can.

Many of you know a bit of Grace's story. You have asked for updates and I've fumbled through words to try to explain Grace's conditions, surgeries, treatments, appointments. While certain surgeries, treatments have put out fires. some of you have seen Grace's quality of life is declining and the connective tissue disorder is progressing. Most of medications, supplements, and procedures have not been fruitful as to date and there's been no treatment to address the underlying genetic condition. We continue to take a day at a time.
Grace's never ending energy has disappeared. Some days are good some days are hard to watch her struggling so much from just getting up the bed in the morning or standing up. The diziness, increased heart rate, nausea, chronic pain, fatigue, abdominal pain and brain fog have taking over her everyday life but we must continue with hope and in faith better days are yet to come.
Her days are no longer filled with friends, her hands are not playing her cello she so loved, her legs aren't taking her dancing her beloved ballet. For the past several years, Grace has been battling with major health issues and the search for answers and treatments many times not covered by insurance have taken a toll on us in many ways, including financially.
Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is a genetic connective tissue disorder that affects every organ system in her body andd has robbed much of her life's hope and dreams. It causes other comorbid conditions such as Dysautonomia/POTS and gastroparesis.
In addition to many health complications, for several years she's been suffering from daily nausea and abdominal pain which had been treated unsuccesfully
as a GI issue. However, last month we finally discovered why no treatments were able to help her. CT and duplex ultrasound scans confirmed MALS (Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome) and another diagnosis unfortunately was added to her long list of challenges.
Grace is blessed with a dedicated single mom who has given her a great life with many wonderful enriching experiences. She has worked incredibly hard to provide Grace with a happy and safe home. Since Grace's illness 4 years ago, she has barely been able to work, using all of her savings and all of her resources to pay for their living expenses and Grace's medical bills. At this point, she is no longer able to keep up with her medical bills, medical supplies and related travel expenses. She is overwhelmed by the avalanche of medical bills that are not covered by the insurance which keep on arriving in the mail while she is taking time off work to care for Grace.
We pray to God for mercy, cure and relief of her daily pain. I am determined to find ways of getting her the medical assistance she needs to improve her quality of life. I hope you find in your heart a desire to support this cause.
We are hoping to count on your kindness to raise much needed funds to help pay Grace’s monthly medical needs which are not covered by insurance such as infusions, medical supplies and equipment, and past bills from hospitalizations and surgeries over the last few months.
