<div>My name is Emily, and I am the mother of five children. Our three oldest boys have been diagnosed with ADHD and it significantly impacts their everyday life. It has especially negatively impacted our second son, Yarash, who is 10 years old. The constant struggles with focus and difficulty with follow-through have led to depression at times. We’ve tried the traditional treatments with limited success. We have heard of people who have had great results with neurofeedback, so we started looking into it.

<div>Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, non medicinal treatment for various brain related disorders and problems, such as ADHD, depression, anxiety and so on. It works by re-training the brain to work in more healthy ways. Many people with ADHD see significant, permanent improvement after an average of 40 sessions.

<div>We stared pursuing neurofeedback after Yarash’s doctor recommended it. We are grateful Yarash is able to get his neurofeedback therapy at a certified clinic just down the street from us, which has a very kind doctor and staff, and has a great reputation in the community. This clinic partners with the Whole Foundation, an organization that offers free neurofeedback and other therapy to foster children who may not have anyone willing to pay for their therapy, and who often have a burden of mental problems from enduring trauma. Although, of course, Yarash doesn’t fit into this category, it is great to know that what we pay for his treatment will go to help other children receive healing as well.

<div>Yarash’s treatment plan includes approximately 40 sessions over several months. He has completed the first few sessions, and the technician said she could tell his brain was already starting to respond! The total cost to complete his sessions will come to $5,000-$6,000, and unfortunately, this therapy is not covered by insurance. We have done what we can on our own, but we need help to make the full program possible.

<div>Your support would directly fund Yarash’s therapy, giving him a chance to experience greater peace, focus, and self-control. Our desire is to give him what he needs to experience a mind that is full of peace and joy, and can help him focus and accomplish all that God created him for. Please help us by donating (even a small amount helps!), sharing our story, and praying. We deeply appreciate anything you are able to do to help! We’ll share regular updates on his progress to keep you in the loop. Thank you for being part of Yarash’s journey toward healing.
