<div>This past November was a doozy for my family. My mom, Jenny, was diagnosed with end-stage liver disease. Since then, everything has revolved around appointments, hospital stays, tests, and waiting.

<div>As of Friday January 2nd, she is officially on the liver transplant list. This is both hopeful but heartbreaking news as it shows just how sick she is.

<div>While we are incredibly grateful that a transplant is possible, the road ahead is long and overwhelming. A liver transplant is not just one surgery. Should she receive this blessing, it will include extended hospital stays, recovery time, frequent follow-up appointments, medications, and the need to stay close to the transplant hospital in temporary housing.

<div>Between accommodations, food, travel, and medical expenses, the costs are adding up quickly. Insurance helps, but it only covers so much.

<div>My parents are not the kind of people to ask for help.  I know we cannot walk this journey alone, so I’ve decided to create this fundraiser. Any support, whether financial, a meal, a prayer, or simply sharing this page means more than we can express.
