<div>On October 31, 2025, my stepfather Jose was involved in a serious accident while riding his scooter home. He was struck by a car, suffering multiple fractures to his pelvis and both wrists, along with other injuries that require surgeries, hospitalization, and a long recovery process.

<div>Since that day, our family has been going through a very difficult time. Jose has undergone several surgeries and remains in the hospital, unable to walk or care for himself. Doctors estimate that his recovery could take six months to a year.

<div>My mother has been by his side day and night, caring for him with all her love, but the medical bills, therapy sessions, and household expenses have become overwhelming. That’s why we decided to create this GoFundMe — to ask for help from anyone who can contribute in any way.

<div>El 31 de octubre de 2025, mi padrastro Jose sufrió un grave accidente mientras regresaba a casa en su scooter. Un vehículo lo atropelló, provocándole fracturas en la pelvis y ambas muñecas, además de otras lesiones que requieren cirugías, hospitalización y un largo proceso de recuperación.

<div>Desde ese día, nuestra familia ha estado viviendo momentos muy difíciles. Jose ha pasado por varias operaciones y aún permanece en el hospital, sin poder caminar ni valerse por sí mismo. Según los médicos, su recuperación tomará entre seis meses a un año.
