‌Justin Anderson, US Army (Retired), as well as a Bronze Star vith Valor and Purple heart recipient, is a true warrior and continues to fight battles long after being medically retired from the US Army in 2004 and becoming permanently disabled he was diagnosed in 2013 with a rare form of brain cancer. After 2 1/2 years of treatment he is just over 1 year in remission.
Anderson has accumulated a tremendous amount of medical bills due to his cancer treatment. Justin is in need of trying to get these medical bills paid so he can move on and concentrate on getting himself healthy after beating the cancer and undergoing so many more medical procedures for his left leg.

After years of complications to his left leg due to injuries recieved while conducting combat operations in Baghdad, Iraq Justin had to have his leg amputated above the knee.

Justin has fought for his country in Iraq, fought a long on-going battle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and a Traumatic Brain Injury, he had to have his leg operated on numerous times and eventually the leg had to be amputated in June of 2014, and then revised and amputated higher in November of 2015. Justin traveled to Syndey, Australia in May of 2016 for a revolutionary type of surgery called Osseointigration. There was a titanium rod implanted into his femur and a small stoma proteuding from his stump and this will connect directly into his prosthetic leg, no more muscle fatigue, sores, or pain from having to wear a socket! Justin was the first American Iraq War Veteran to have this done and it helped to improve his quality of life as well as help to get this procedure FDA approved in the U.S.

Friends and family have been a great support throughout this battle with cancer and numerous major operations and now Justin is going to have to travel back to Australia to have a procedure done to replace a portion of the external componenets of his Osseointegration surgery. On top of all this there are still the surmounting medical bills from his past cancer treatement so he needs all the help he can get to get back down to Australia and have this procedure done which needs to take place as soon as possible!

For more information on the procedure visit these two websites, thank you and God Bless! http://www.osseointegrationaustralia.com.au
